Warm Up - Dynamic Streches - All to be done slowly and emphasise form
1 Length - A to B and back to A
4 lengths - Jogging - Emphasise a slow speed and only working the turn
1/4 length - High Knees - Emphasise form not speed.
1/4 length - High Heels - Emphasise form not speed.
1/4 length - Side Skips - Rotate after 3.
2 Full lengths - Forward Backward Running - Run straight to first cone and then backward and repeat for 2nd cone.

20 sit ups
20 press ups
20 squats
20 burphees with jump
20 star jumps
Speed Work
Players run individually from 1-4 outside the perimeter of the area. 1-2 is run at 3/4 pace from 1-2 and then transition/explosive speed to sprint from 2-4. Each player moves up 1 cpone in the queue ehen the runner gets to cone 2.
4 times each.

Organisation
During the transition make sure players avoid close contact by sending 4 on each corner of the area with their ball and the working player (X) in the middle with no ball. If coach is participating make sure he is situated in the middle of a length.

Midfield Movement - Pass
Player X works for 1 minute running out of the small starting square to do a 1-2 with a server on the outside. Once this is done he turns and proceeds to the next server but only after he re-enters the small starter square. This work is done for the full minute.
Coaching Points
Emphasise explosive speed from the starter square everytime. Always explode out towards the server calling loudly and on toes prepared to control cleanly and pop it back with quality. The run back in should be a jog and maintain the transition from jog to explosive speed always out towards the server. Emphasise quality of pass. Note the 1 - 2 should be a medium length pass 3-4m to ensure social distancing, keep an eye on this.
After 1min rotate the player in the middle.
Midfield Movement - Dribble
The transition to this is quick. The servers do not have a ball and instead offer as a passing option. Now player X has a ball and dribbles around looking for a vacant passing option. Again player X must go through the starter square in the middle in between every pass. Player X works for 1 min and then rotate. Note the 1 - 2 should be a medium length pass 3-4m to ensure social distancing, keep an eye on this.
Progression
Once a full set is done and everyone has had an opportunity as player X, re do the drill but this time the servers are continually passing a ball around the square. The server with the ball is not a viable passing option forcing player X to get his head up and assess the situation first before passing to identify the best passing option.

Passing Patterns
Pass & Follow
Keep the same set up and have all the balls in the starter corner. Pass and follow to the player ahead. The last player dribbles to the start and resumes the pass and follow. Emphasise quality of pass and speed. Complete 5 cycles.
1-2 Through Ball
All players remain on the corners and on the starting corner there are 2 players socially distanced. The players pass and follow and progress around the square playing a 1-2 and a through ball to the next player. Complete this ofr 3 cycles and then go the opposite direction.

Final Skill Drill
2 Players work at a time. Player A are attackers and player B are defenders. Both sprint to their opposite cone and player A receive a pass from the coach/server and tries to score through a gate before player B can defend/intercept. 3 goes each and then rotate the attackers vs defenders. Count the goals for competition purposes.
