To enact various attacking situations and opportunities which we must recognise and seize. The practice is designed to offer repetition of these and develop responses to be distinctive when faced with the opportunities in a game situation.
Covering movement, build up aspects as well as raw finishing techniques and dangerous areas to attack.

Same area as before but focus the game on the area inside the paths we used prior. 4v4 game in the shaded area, upon completion of 5 passes (wingers can be used as overloads) the ball is fed into the channel for the wingers to drive to the line/half space, while the winger drives, 2 attacking players are replicating the move from the last practice to attack the area with a focus around 2nd 6 yard box.
1 defending player remains in the 18 yard box. This player as well as wing players are switched.

Players are split between 2 teams of 6 replicating the front 5 players on each team of a 1-4-3-3 (1-0-2-3) and 1-3-5-2 (1-0-3-2). The pitch is set with 2 large goals at either side of a shallow middle third, this is to ensure that there are always shooting opportunities and to prepare players for these opportunities.

Static Shooting Movement (15 mins)
Ball is initially played from the player in the centre circle to the highest player (deep receiving pocket) who then sets the ball for their supporting player, this player then sends a weighted pass for the player in the deep receiving pocket to collect and drive to the line/half space before delivering the ball into the box. The initial passer and additional player from adjacent line time runs to arrive in the box at the optimal time to attack this movement.
