Working on footwork

split players into 3 groups. players perform given footwork through cones for 2 minutes and then move to the next

progression

- players go again and give eachother services at the end of each circuit

#1 is mid

#2 is ground

#3 is high

Low diving technique 

- split players into 3 groups of 3 and a group of two (the group of two will alternate who starts at each progression. 

  • Player starts in centre and receives mid service and returns to keepers hand each time. once they return the ball they get across for a low diving save. they get back into the middle for another mid service and then to the other side for a low diving save. 
  • Swap every 2 mins x 3
  • Progression to mid collapsing saves on outsides. 

for the group of the the player must roll the ball out to the keepers feel for the low dives and into their hands for the mid service.

Shot stopping 

  • Split keepers into groups of 2 groups of 4 and a group of 3 ( one team use poles as goals)
  • Service #1 is a ground service  and #2 is a shot on goal, #3 is a low near post dive 
  • Service #1 is a mid service, #2 is a low half volley, # is a collapsing dive
  • Each keeper is in for 2 minutes and rotate anti clockwise.

* use bounce board for #1 group of 3.

* if less players show up take out server #3

running time - 20 minutes
