(2) 20x20 grids (If numbers of players dictate - try to get 8-10 players to a grid)
2 players inside with 1 ball
A starts with ball and passes to C
C passes back to A, C goes into center of grid
A passes to D and D then passes to C who has entered the grid
C passes to B
B starts over with combination play on the outside
Start slow to get the pattern
Can we improve intensity to 1 and 2 touch play
Coaching Points:
Angled approach to the ball to allow open body position and be able to see the playing area
Supporting player must recognize where the play needs to go to and set up in those areas
Supporting player must also have open body shape to receive the pass
Passes must be accurate and appropriately weighted
Passes on the surface
Receive with back foot
Hold up play and turning with the ball

(2) 10x10 or 15x15 grid (dependent on needs of players)
Add neutral if needed for numbers
Blue attempts to play left to right
Green attempts to play top to bottom
Player that passes to target player takes that position on the outside and passing player becomes target player
Coaching Points:
Movement off of ball to create passing lanes and receiving options
Body shape to receive pass
Head check and scan field for next option passing or receiving
Play the way you face or get on the half turn
Pace of play
Communication

40x40 grid
16 players as shown
18 add a HM into each end area to create 2v3
17 use one neutral in transition area
Green attacks bottom goal
Blue attacks upper goal
Reds area nuetral
Outside reds can travel entire length and are looking to create 2v1 in wide channel
*can play 3v1 with player in transition area - transition player must stay in transition zone*
Transition red/s play 2 touch and start attack
With 2 in zone the player that does not make the entry pass joins the attack to create 3v2
Options:
Must play through transition zone
Must create 2v1 before playing into attacking zone
Use either option as long as 1 option is used
Bypass transition zone or wide channel when it is the best option - DO NOT FORCE THIS OPTION
Coaching Points:
Movement off of ball to create passing lanes and receiving options
Body shape to receive pass
Head check and scan field for next option passing or receiving
Play the way you face or get on the half turn
Pace of play
Communication
