Scoring: one point for correct run and one point for connected pass
Game: Cones are defenders; Drift from red cones and accelerate from yellow cones as ball is being played. One ball is played your partner find a cone and you play it to him. All pairs play simultaneously. PROGRESSION 1: add a curl around the defender. PROGRESSION 3: Place a mini goal on each of the sides and put two pairs together for a multi-direction game. This will help them understand how to separate from the defender.
Coaching Points: Time your runs to connect pass. When receiving ball make sure hips are open.

Game: Create a 3v2 game. Can progress into a 4 v 3 game. The fourth man would be the 9 splitting the 4 and 5.
Coaching Points: Time your runs to stay onsides. If the 4 and 5 are both looking at the BC, the other two need to drift away laterally from them to create space. When receiving ball make sure hips are parallel with the goal.
