Stage 3
In the next stage, we will now be playing a 1v1 game with dribble gates on either side of the box to score into. The game will start when the opponent with the ball passes the ball down to the player without the ball. This grid will be made up 7x winners moving up and losers moving down. 3 Minute Games
Encourage positive first touch and dribbling at speed. Slow down when doing moves but accelerate after performing the move in order to get past the defender. The main thing we want to come out in this part is the change of direction as there are two gates to score into.
Duration: 3x5 (Reps minute break after 3 games)

Stage 3
In the next stage of the practice we are going to introduce 2v2s. The game will start with the team in possesion looking to pass the ball down to the opponent and then the 2v2 game begins. To score you need to dribble across the endzone. Winners move up and losers move down multiple fields set up.
Though it's a 2v2 encourage dribbling in 1v1s when presented with them in the game. Encourage the team in possession to spread in order to create more opportunities to dribble. Dribbling to attract players to find a pass is as important as beating a player 1v1.
