U11 session. 1v1 face on pressure

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
1v1 to side gates. Defenders play the ball in to attackers. Attackers can score 1 point for successfully dribbling under control through either gate OR score 3 points by dribbling past defender to back of grid in between last 2 cones. Progress to giving defenders points for turnover and allowing attackers option of returning to start (gain nor lose points).
Coaching points:
- attacking, directional 1st touch. Ball out of feet to get moving quickly w/ eyes up!
- look to unbalance defender using moves practiced earlier (or combination of moves)
- get defender moving in 1 direction to create space to attack in opposite direction
- give enough space to allow for move before getting too close to defender
- be brave & creative

4v4 SSG. 3 team rotation.
Look to reinforce all earlier points. 1v1's should be recognized and taken. Create space off of driblle to attack. Look to unbalance defender and attack back foot when off balance. Get after the defender quickly (make him react to you!)

Moves performed: feignt, Matthews dribble, scissors.
Coaching points:
- weight transfer/dropping of shoulder
- take away with outside of opposite foot (to create as much distance as possible between defender & ball)
- get touch out of feet to move at pace & get eyes up off ball
- change of direction/change of pace
- explain how these moves can unblanace defender & attack back foot
