Organization:
1. Open area.
2. Every player with a ball.
Instructions:
1. Players dribble in open area.
2. Dribble like Messi and Ronaldo.
3. Introduce feinting movements.
4. Players perform series of movements on command (toe taps and so on).
Coaching Points:
1. Head up.
2. Controlled touches.
3. Use of both feet.
Progressions:
1. End with knockout game.

Organization:
Players line up 30 yds across from one another, cone in middle. 2-3 players per line. Each player has a ball.
Instructions:
1. Players dribble with Messi (small) touches to cone, Ronaldo (large) touches after cone. When complete new player starts in opposite direction.
2. Progress to moves at the center cone: feint; inside/outside; roll; roll step; swivel hips.
Coaching Points:
-Head up
-(Messi touches) Pinky toe, ankle turned in
-(Ronaldo touches) Laces of the foot nearest ball, fewest number of touches to cover space
-Sell the move with your body!
Progressions:
-Balls on one end only. Player with ball passes across then runs to center cone to shadow defend. Dribbler practices 1v1 move against shadow defender.
-Same but with full defending.

Organization:
1. 30 x 30 Area Size.
2. Split the group into teams of 3.
Instructions:
1. White team attacks the goal and then defends, as soon as the
ball goes out the blue player attacks and this process continues.
Coaching Points:
1. Do you gave to beat the player or can you just create space to
get shot at goal.
2. Quick transition after possession is turned over.
The Scissor- Drop the shoulder as the foot plants
Take the ball away using the outside of the opposite foot
Complete the same motion with the opposite foot
Unbalance defender with ball movement
Smaller touches on the ball (use of pinky toe to dribble the ball) “Like Messi” as approaching defender
Unbalance defender with body movement (Use of body to sell the fake)
Timing of Execution of move based upon space between you and the defender
Accelerate away if looking to continue to dribble
Identification of 1vs 1 (space behind defender)
Attack defenders front foot

Organization:
3v3 Small-sided tournament games: 4 teams of 3 players eachteam. 2 fields of 20x30 yards with 2 Pugg Goals on opposite endlines.
Instructions:
4 Teams of 3, play 3v3 tournament style format where each team will play one another. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss. Each game should be approximately 6-8 minutes in duration (obviously play a 3 game tournament).
Coaching Points:
· Review of session's learning outcomes being translatedinto the game
· 3 lines of attack
· Creating triangle (gives angles of support)
· Making triangle as big as possible (Creating space)

Warm Up Gauntlet (10 mins)
Organization:
20 x 50 area split into 5 zones (3 defending zones and 2 safety zones).
Instructions:
Players look to move through the zones without their pinnies being pulled out by the defenders. If they reach the end zone they score a point, if their pinnie is pulled out then they go back to the start and continue to play.
1st player goes, the next player doesn't go until the 1st player either has their pinnie pulled out or they cross through the 1st zone.
Coaching Points:
Recognizing one of 2 scanario's
1. Space
2. Defender
If space, they take it quickly (accelleration and running techniques)
If defender then discuss 3 key principles:
Fake - (dropping shoulder, bending knee)
Accelleration - (pushing off bent knee, using momentum to sping in opposite direction)
Protection - Making sure that you are always protecting pinnie (positioning body between defender and pinnie)
Progressions:
Addition of ball to work on dribbling/moves techniques
Introduce the Scissors with ball
