Players are locked in to their halfs to begin with, 2 x outside common player operate in the wide channels unopposed, the inside common player player can move in to any half creating an overload for the team in possession. The 3 common players play with the team in possession of the ball. After 3 passes the ball can be worked out wide where the wide player can move in to the attacking half of his channel to deliver a cross in to the box and creat chances for the attacking players.
