Dribbling Game
Setup:
Area 20 by 30 yds wth end zone at End line.
3v3
As many soccer balls as players
Description:
Can Start with smaller numbers 1v1 to 2v2. One team attacks one side (end zone) while the other team attacks other side (end zone), defenders cannot defend in the end zone. Score by dribbling into the end zone. Rotate players from both teams when goal is scored or ball leaves the grid. Extra players off the field ready to come on the attack from a ball from coach.
Coaching points:
Dribble, change direction, change speed
Find the right time to change speed
Decisions to pass or dibble
Creativity in the dribble
Progression:
Add players in a 3v3 to 4v4 situation.
Go to a target player.

Set up two teams
Description: (2v2+1)
Attacking team starts with ball. PLAYERS have the ball
Team that scores a goal stays on the field to keep playing
Team that gets scored on goes off and next team from same side comes on.

Dribble forward, do not wait for defender
When to dribble, when to change direction, when to pass and when to attack opposite way.

Set Up: 45x64y 4v4 +GK+ Neutral. Provide gates in wide areas and central area.
Description: Normal game but have to dribble through one of the gates before they can score.
Coaching Points:

3. Finishing Techniques (instep/laces)

Add neutral players on the outside to bounce off of.

Setup:
10 x 7 yards Grid or Adjust to age. One Grid is good for 3 players
Set up as many grids as number of players in the group (10 players in the group = 3 Grids)
Description
1 player trys to beat the defender across the grip, If Player beats defender gets a point.
If defender wins the ball back, then attacker becomes defender and defender attacker.
Once Attacker goes ever first defender gets one point. If Attacker goes over second defender gets another point and can continue dribbling the ball until losses the ball.

Change speed once over the defender
