Switching Play (20 mins)
Key Factors
12V8 in possession + 2GK
18yard-half way with two 18yard areas either side.
4x5mins (90sec rest)
RED Players (Team 1) look to build up play starting from FB - They must look to get switch in before opposite WM/FB can recieve pass and get line into crossing area to deliver into box. Once outside player breaks in - Outside CB can go and and prevent cross and reds look to create a 3v2 in the box with opposite WM attacking back post.
If Blues have possession they look to counter through manniquins and into opposite area unopposed and have 5 seconds to score.
Conditions - when ball on other side opposite FB or WM can go narrow to create overload. Rule is if FB goes in narrow WM Goes high - If WM goes in narrow FB goes high - Looking for rotation on other side and to be on different vertical lines to create overload to get ball into advance area to be able to cross.
Feedback/interventions (concurrent, terminal and demonstrations (Movement to recieve/looking to switch play- play through, play around, playover)
