Organization:
- 40x20 area
- 1-2 Players in each line
- Balls start at 1
Instructions:
- 1 plays aerial ball to 2
- 2 opens out their body and plays to the feet of 3
- It is important that 3 takes a foward touch to attack the line. As this is happening the sequence continues. 3 then dribbles and finds the pass back to next mate at 1.
Progressions/Regressions:
- After passing to 3 number 2 then applies pressure to force a more realisitc touch and response to playing foward.
Coaching Points:
- Speed of Play: Ball should always be rolling.
- First touch when on cones 2 and 3 should be positive with the aim of playing foward.
- Play with both feet: Stress the importance of being comfortable with both and no such thing as dominant/strong.

Organization:
40 x 30 Area.
4 Goals. 2 Goals on the corners of each end line
Instructions:
2 teams, with at least 4v4 and no more of 6v6. Adjust to numbers as needed.
The Objective of the game is for each team to score in the opposition's mini goals.
Defending team gets 1 point when recovering in the attacking half.
Restarts are made with kick-ins.
Coaching Points/Questions:
1) Pressure by 1st Defender (Instant transition // when out of possesion)
2) Body position and shape from 1st Defender (Force the direction of play // into trap)
3) Visual Cues 3B's (Bad Touch, Bad Pass, Bad Player (contain // tackle)
4) Support from 2nd (cover) Defender (double-team // set trap)
5) High Press, Counter Press and Rest Defense
Regressions/Progressions:
P1: Attacking team can only advance into the attacking half penetrating via pass.

Instructions:
Ball starts at orange cones - played in to midfielders
Mid plays into striker,
Striker lays off wide and then both strikers make run into box, other mid fielder takes position at top of box
PLAY UNTIL BALL IS IN BACK OF NET OR OUT OF BOUNDS
Mid goes to striker, striker comes to wide line and sprints back to half field
Guys that just sprinted become mid
Coaching Points:
Play to both sides
Weight of cross
Crossing in the air or on the ground?
Can we finish?
Where are we making our runs?
Progressions/Regressions:
P: add defenders
P: different patterns
R: simple attacking progressions

Concept: Playing out from the back
Players: 10 - any more line up behind player 1
Instructions:
Each player must follow their pass
Ball starts with 1 who passes along backline to player 4
4 passes to 5 who plays back to 6
6 then plays forward and drill starts again from 7 passing through to 10
10 passes to 6 who plays back to 5
Coach points:
Move off the cone to receive the pass
Keep the ball in motion
Use the "shoulder check" before you receive the pass

1 passes to 2 who bounces back to 1
1 passes to 3 who bounces to 2
2 passes to 4
4 passes to 5 who plays back to 6 who then pass to 7
7 passes to 8 who bounces back to 7

8 passes to 10 who passes to 6
6 who plays back to 5 who then pass to 1
Points:
Follow your pass but only to the next cone as per the first drill
