3 vs 1 boxed in (15 mins)

AREA

Set up 10 by 10 yard box with 2 gates.

DESCRIPTION

1 red player (attacker) plays ball into area through the gate. Once another player gets the ball the defender can enter through the blue gate.

The red players must make 5 passes and then dribble the ball out of the blue gate to score a goal.

If the defending player gains the ball they must dribble through the red gate to score a goal.

If an attacking player loses control of the ball or playes it out of the area then they become the defending player.

PROGRESSIONS

Each attacking player is limited to only 3 touches of the ball, they must then pass or release the ball. If any of the attacking players take more than 3 touches they become the defender and the drill is ran again.

COACHING POINTS

- Movement

- Create angles and options for player with the ball.
