This session is aimed at developing players working in the social corner of the 4 corner model.
All the practices are focussed on developing social skills (communication, teamwork, fair play, creating games and sharing ideas, etc)

15-20 mins
Organisation:
- 4x4 or 3x3
- Start with ball in hands
- score by receiving in the end zone
Progressions:
- Ball on the floor
- If one team scores in one end they immediately turn and attack the opposite goal (transition)
- Communication not allowed
- Only non-verbal communication allowed
- let players create their own rules to allow extra points to be scored

4v4 unrestricted play (5 mins)
After 5 mins allow players to change the rules, add conditions to challenge the game.
Encourage breaks in the game to discuss tactics as a team etc
Give individual players extra challenges to score points (e.g.):
- Touches to score
- Run with the ball when they receive
- Playing with the weaker foot

Arrival Game - Arm Tennis
(15-20 mins)
Players in pairs (3s are ok too)
They create a net with their arm and start with 1 ball, playing a game of arm tennis
Progressions:
- Use other body parts to play the ball over the net
- introduce another ball
- let players change the rules to create their own version of the game
- rotate partners
- try and play in groups of 4 - they develop their own version of the game
