Organisation:
-10 Players per grid. Adjust numbers to suit.
-10 balls per grid.
-2 Grid sizes 10m x 15m to suit age and ability.
Explanation/Progression:
-Play starts with BLUE (#3 or #9)
-Pass to wide player, checking off to take 1st touch in the direction of the next pass.
-Add passive pressure by adding in a defender to create resistance.
-Can the players take there 1st touch with alternative parts of the foot.
-Play can also start by a throw in and wide pllayer using Chest,thigh or lace to control the ball.
-Player actions:
-Know where you want to play next.
-Position yourself so you can see both players, (Passer and the Receiver). Forward facing positions!
-Check over your shoulder.
-Show the player where you want the ball and call for it.
-Keep the ball moving.

- 5v5, 6v6 - two teams
- grid adequate for age group and skill level
- one ball
Session:
- possession game
- points for number of consecutive passes
- double if player can receive back after moving to supporting position

- moving to open space after making pass
- Moving after team mate passes

World Cupies
Organization:Teams divied into teams of 2.
Instructions: Teams play 2 v all other teams. Depending the number of players will determine the number of balls played at the start. As teams are eliminated reduce number of balls.
- when a team scores they are out.
- The last team remaining each round is out completely.
- Play continues untill it's 2 v 2. First team to score is the champions.

15 x 15 grid to start. Players move along their lines in order to create a passing angle. Speed of play is important so a 2-touch limit should be imposed.
Smaller grid size and 1-touch limit are natural progressions for more capable teams.
Coach has balls ready in order to keep the game moving.
Coaching Points:
- Hips open; Play proper foot (farthest foot from pressure); pass to feet, weight of pass, head up.
- Movement off ball creating good supporting angles; movement after passing ball.. 3 steps.
