Dribbling, Taking on players in 1v1 Situations

Organizational / Instructions
Players split into 2 different groups 1 and each end of the channel. Each player will have a ball each. 1 player at each time will Dribble from 1 end to another.
Dribbling freely using any foot they want. After 1 or 2 times focus on 1 foot at a time, so only left foot going up the channel then only the right foot going up. Once they get to the end they just stay up and wait till there team comes up.
Coaching Points
Small Touches, Head up when dribbling, Using all part of the foot.

Organizational / Instructions
Nothing changing from the begining of the skill practise. There will be a defender put in the middle of the channel. They will be a passive defender only allowed to jocky the attacker. They are allowed to intersept the ball if it is a heavy touch from the attacekr.

Small Touchs Between the cones. Enough Distance to execute the skill at the cone, Head up at all times,

Organizational / Instructions
Same set up nothing has hchanged still defender in the middle of the channel. Now the defender will oppose as a active defender where he is only allowed on the middle section of the channel. They are allowed to tackle and win the ball back.

Organizational / Instructions
This will be a condition game. where all players will be man marked from someone in the opposite team. The aim of this is to infornce the skill practice. You must take your player on before you can shoot. If you team loses posestion of the ball then you will have to take your man on again and get past them successfully. Still encourage passing aswell as it is still a team based game. Players are not allowed to tackle unless it is the player who is marking them. Players can intersept passes or heavy touches but are not allowed to tackle anyone who isnt there partner.

Head up, Small Touches when going to your player.

Remove all conditions and let them play a free game. By this time the should be confident enought to take the player on and successfully beat them .

Encourage To take players on in 1v1. Encourage the players to try new skills with in the game.
