Area: 20 x 20 divided into four 10 x 10 grids. Players: 8-16, ideally 12. divided into groups of 3.
Explanation: Use the four grids to create two vertical and two horizontal passing lanes. Players work in groups of three across each passing lane, one at each end and one in the middle. Play starts at one end (Player A) passing into (1) the middle player (B) who takes a touch away from any surrounding players (2) & passes the ball to the player at the other end (Player C) who takes a touch to one side. Middle players must move along the passing lane toward the passer to receive the ball. All four passing lanes play simaltaneously & creat interference to adjoining passing lanes. Rotate middle player.

Area: 20 x 20, with a centre marker to create four 10 x 10 grids. Players: 8-16, ideally 12 divided into two groups
Explanantion: Players in two groups of 6 with one player at each endline and four in the middle, one group playing horizontally the other playing vertically. Each group moves the ball from one end through each middle player to the other end and rotate back again - every player takes a touch and a pass in each sequence. Once a middle player takes a touch and passes they must move to a different grid. No defending though each team is effectively interferring the other passively.
Progession: Last player to pass to an end player replaces the end player who comes into the middle. First touch can be a first time pass.
Coaching Cues: Perception: Head up scanning; Where is space to take first touch into, where are/how close are interferring players, where are support players/bouncers for pass: Decision: take a first touch or first time pass; which direction to take a first touch, which support player to pass to, pass to feet, pass in front, pass into space; Execution weight direction of first touch and pass, movement into space after pass

Area; 20 x 20, central small goal along each side line. Players: 8 - 16, divided into two teams. 12 used here.
Explanantion: Each team (6) has two endline players at each end and two middle players, one team is playing vertically the other horizontally. Team in possesion is effectively playing 6 v 2 as endline players can not defend. Points are scored by moving the ball from one endline to the other and back again and then scoring a goal without losing possession. Rotate middle players every two mins. Emphasis on taking a first touch away from pressure then quick pass to support players, leading to first time passes.
Step Up/Progression: player passing to end line player mus replace endline player who comes into the field after pass. Convert middle to 3v3 or 4v4 by adding endline players to the middle. Step Down: increase area; to score move the ball from one endline to the other then score; Attacking team can add an extra endline player to the middle to create 3v2 or 4 v 2.

Area: 40 x 30 two 5m end zones plus two goals at each end; Players 12 players 6 v 6, 1 player in end zone
Expanation: attacking team collects a ball from defensive gola to start play, forward passes to reach their player in attacking end zone, this player can not score, once ball has reached end zone that zone becomes live to all players as normal. Points scores by scoring in either goal after ball reaches player in end zone.

Coaching Points: short pass timing/weight/accuracy; movement off the pass into space away from dribbler; first touch into space or direction of passing player movement; perception/awarenes off pass across grids
