Organization:
Instructions:
30 x 25
3 zones of 10 by 25
one ball
each team has 3 or 4 players remaining in their specific zones
Players in the middle zone must prevent the other two from passing accross to switch with the side loosing the ball
The defenders intercepting score 5 points for their group
complete passes across the fiels scores 2 points for the passing team and 1 point for the reieving team
Coaching Points/Questions:
Move on and off the ball, make room for your team and the other side to create gaps between the mddle team.
Can we have a first touch to have a positive impact? can we use one touch pass to our own side to use the time and space between the middle team?
Middle zone, How do we defend as a team? how does checking our shoulders constantly help our containing ?
Regressions/Progressions:
Regressing: widen the field to 10 by 30
Progression: narrow the field to 10 by 20, then 10 by 15 then 10 by 10
Adding another ball would absolutely make it a chaotic session
