- Play into player in the middle and combine to play out to the other side

- Middle player stays in the middle and end players follow their pass out to the other side

Positional Game (15 mins)

Set Up

Create a 20 x 25m area plus a 2m end zone at each end and a halfway line. Have extra balls ready to use.

How to Play

Teams play 4v4 and try to score by dribbling or running onto a pass in the end zone they're attacking (can't wait for a pass in the end zone). If possession is lost or the ball goes dead, the defending team have to retreat to their own half and play will start again with the new attacking team.

Player tasks

- Can you get into a position to play forward?

- Can you support the forward pass in-front or with a run in behind?

- Can you find split passes between the opposition?

- If you can't receive can you rotate and clear the space?

- If you receive wide can you beat your opponent on the outside or drive inside to create space for over-lapping run on the outside?
