This example shows that when Ter Stegen (1) receives the ball, Origi (27) will press him, hard. When Ter Stegen passes to Alba (18), Shaqiri (23) stops the passing option to Coutinho (7). As Alexander-Arnold advances he can threaten to close Coutinho (7) as well as the passing option into Suarez (9). When Alba (18) passes inside to Lenglet (15), this is the trigger for Origi (27) to press from behind, Henderson (14) from in front, and Mane (10) from the side. Milner (7) and Fabinho (3) adapt their positions and prepare for a quick released pass and any interceptions that might happen. Alisson (13), van Dijk (4), Matip (32) and Robertson (26) all prepare for the ball to be played long down field by the defenders to clear the Barcelona defensive area.
