Warm up/T1 (20 mins)

SET UP:

- Warm up ball manipulation game, Red cone = produce a skill to get through the gate, Blue cone = produce a turn to identify a target behind you away from blue cone.

- Coach to introduce new turns every so often adapting the turns taught and difficulty to individual and group needs.

T2 (20 mins)

SET UP:

- Middle Square with outside (blue) cone 5 yards away and another (red) cone 5 yards away from the blue.

- Ball gets played in by the defender from the square, the attacker receives ball on the blue cone and turns out to the red cone. Once red cone is reached player produces turn and attempts to beat defender to get into middle square.

KEY POINTS:

- Identify the target

- Use of turn and burst of acceleration directly after

- First Passive defender

- Non Passive defender

- Add in goals for attackers if get past def and also for def if they win ball.
