Attacking using wide areas, Can be 4v4 or full size game depending on age and numbers.

Method: Area cut in half one team in one side the other team in opposite side. One team starts with the ball and three opponents come in and try to win the ball and switch play to their team. Then they maintain possession in their half while three opponents enter and try to win it back. If the team in possession are keeping the ball easily keep adding more defenders
Coaching Points: Shape within our half, width and depth required, when to play first touch or more. can we suck the pressure to one area and switch it to the other side. Keep a player centrally to dominate the spaces. Keep good space between our options. If we do lose it can we counterpress before they can switch the pay to their half?

Method:4v4 + 2 - reds play north south, blues east west. Aim of the game is to progress the ball from one WP to the other through the pitch (not from WP to WP). If reds win the ball they do the same. To progress we can let the WP dribble in with the ball after receiving but let the game flow first.
Coaching Points: How can we get the ball from one side to the other? Set and switch, Isolate and 1v1, use the WP for third man runs. Shape when we are transitioning to attack/defend. Opposite movements of WPs

Method: Two wide areas with free players in each one. If a goal comes from a wide area count two goals.
Progression: add more players, increase pitch size to full. Take out the wide players and play normally but with the markings still there. Same rules apply goals from wide areas count double.
Coaching Points: Combine wide to create space centrally. 1-2's, third man runs. rotation of positions within shape. Areas to attack when crosses are made, front, back, penalty spot, late run etc....

Method: Passing and Moving Grid - six or more squares depending on size of squad. Can do two grids if you have many players. Key is one more player than squares. The extra player starts the game by dribbling into a square and passing. The square he entered already has a player in it and they must now move to another square. This then forces the next player whos square is entered to move and so on. The person who receives the pass passes that on again and the ball is continuously in play as the players are moving from square to square
Coaching Points: Communication - this is a chaotic game so communication is key here. Can we help the ball carrier? What can we do the help them? One touch, Two touch. Verbal, non-verbal comms. Cant pass to the next square(must have 8 squares or three rows of boxes for this to be effective)
