3rd field, 50 yards wide and 40 yards deep. 2 full-sized goals and a large ball supply. 2 teams of 4 and two servers for each team in one of their attacking corners.
Regular game is played within the grid but all restarts initiate a cross. GK starts the game by rolling ball to one of their teammates. If ball goes out of play or a foul is committed, the player in the corner crosses the ball. Server from the corner should vary serves (long ball in the air, low driven, etc). Emphasize importance of quality runs into the box. Award 1 point for a goal for normal play and 2 points for a goal from a cross. When GK gets the ball, it is dead and play starts with a cross.
CPs: 1) Receiving, 2) passing over medium and long range, 3) crossing techniques: chip, lofted, driven, 4) mobility on and off the ball. 5) mental conditioning: decision making and speed of play. 6) Support with and without the ball.
