SSG - Applying movement in a game setting
Players are split into 2 teams. 3v2 in each 18 yard box area with a GK in each goal 3v2 (w/GK) v 3v2 (w/GK). Keep the score. 1 point for each goal.
Rep 1 @ 4 minutes - All players to stay in their own area. Only the attackers on each side can score a goal. Can the players work their movements off of each other as in the warm up.
Rep 2 @ 4 minutes - The player who passes it through to the attacking half can transition through to make it 3v3.
Rep 3 @ 4 minutes - Only the players in the defensive half can score after the ball has gone into the attacking half (Can they "set" a teammate?)
Technical Focus
- Passing with correct technique
- Receiving with body position ready to play to their team mate
- Scanning (Play with head up and always looking around for an option)
- Make your movement based on where your team mate moves.

Warm Up - Movement off the ball
Blue play to blues and reds play to reds. Players on the outside, stay on your side and move along your lines, players in the middle, make sure you play off at an angle. If your team mate drops deep, think about where you need to them drop.
Rep 1-2 @ 60 seconds each - Players around the outside move along their line. Players on the inside, work off of each others movement.
Rep 3-4 - 60 seconds each - Players on the end can now pass straight through to the middle if they see a passing lane open.
Rep 5-6 - 60 seconds each - Players in the middle can now swap with a pass to the player on the outside, they will then become the player on the outside.
