Technical
Organization: 2 lines shown, with the balls with 1 of the lines
Instructions:
Line with balls dribbles halfway and plays a pass into the receiving line. Receiving line receives the ball and dribbles through the gate.
Coaching Points:
-Connection
-Ready position- ready to receive the pass
-Technique of receiving pass- Inside of the foot, Toe up, foot placement in relation to the direction we want to go into
-Body Position- As the ball is played can we shift our hips to be able to receive and have 1st touch be directional

Semi Opposed
Organization: Same setup as previous activity
Instructions:
As the first line plays the ball, they now get to choose a gate and run into it. Receiving player must receive the ball and go through the opposite gate
Coaching Points:
Head Up Scan the field
Be prepared to receive the ball
Body shape when receiving the ball
Get the ball out from under your feet upon receiving
Weight of touch
DIstance of touch
Progressions:
Defender once they touch the gate can now try to race to beat the attacker to the opposing gate.

Fully Opposed
Organization:
Same setup as previous activities
Instructions:
Once the passer plays the pass they are now fully live and able to take the ball from the receiving player. If defender wins the ball they obtain a point by dribbling past line.

Head Up- Scan
-Body Position able to receive the pass, as the pressure is now tighter we must make sure that our 1st touch is direction.
