⚽Practice Organization

  • This is a specific exercise for touch development and and off ball movement
  • Our players will work in order to maximize their space understanding and the movements required to generate the best conditions for superiority

⚽Key Coaching Points

  • Players have to follow the passing pattern demonstrated in the above image
  • Black lines indicate the pass
  • The blue line indicate the ball driving after reception
  • This exercise is executed concurrently from both sides for better execution flow
  • Players have to execute break off ball movements, trying to avoid the mannequins (realistic and aggressive movements)
  • Every pass has to be executed with 1 touch
  • However players are able to receive the ball with an additional touch (for execution efficacy)
  • Players are expected to communicate and coordinate their movements 
  • Ball between the mannequins is required to move quickly and fast (we aim to release the ball fast)
  • Players next green mannequins have to move quickly and reach their maximal speed, while expecting the proper timed pass from the ''feeder'' at the top mannequin
  • From the moment that the ''space exploitation'' player receives the ball has to drive the ball quickly until the top down blue stick
  • At that point the exercise restarts and the players rejoin their group
  • Players have to switch sides in order to work on both sides
  • Coach provides feedback to our players while the exercises is executed
  • Players move in front and they reach the spot that they gave their last pass (always procced one spot Infront)
  • We work for 8:00 minutes
  • Emphasis must be placed on clen ball touches, follow through after pass movements and smooth off ball movements with flawless running and low intensity decelerations
