3v3 Building Out Game Related Practice (Defenders in possession) (25 mins)

3v3 Building through the thirds activity.

Teams split to include Defenders/Midfielders/Attackers. Tight areas to force pressure on technique and to promote movement and quick interchanges by team in possession. 

1 player from the team in possession can drop/advance into next zone. When not in possession players must stick to their zone. 

Focus on Defenders initial decision to pass or step in. Weight and angle of pass, movement to receive/support midfielders and how/when to progress the ball and finally movement to protect the centre zone when ball has progressed.  

Pitches are separate, each team plays each team once. 4 minute rounds. 

If team scores they start with possession again
