Organisation: Area 20x20 with 3 groups. Both groups working at same time in the centre.
Description: Three groups of players. One group outside the square with 2 groups working inside the square. The inside players must receive a pass from outside and quickly combine with each other. Once each player has touched the ball, the middle team then pass out
Can you play one touch passing?
Progression: Have 1 group combining more than once before pass goes outside. Change over ever 5 minutes.
Technical: Creating space for the team (width) or teammates (infield for overlapping) Receiving skills (when in space or congested areas) Turning (no touch, 1-touch or multi touch)
Passing skills (can it be 1-touch)
Tactical: Timing runs to link in with advancing support players. Angle of runs.
Combination play.
Physical: Coordination. Quick reaction to movement of players. Acceleration/deceleration.
Psychological/Social: Assessing play whilst moving quickly with ball. Concentration and assessment. Taking responsibilities on &off the ball.

Description
Set up as shown.
1. A to C who plays back to A (C moves to support the forward player D)
2. A to D (A becomes C)
3. D 1-2 with C (C becomes D)
4. D to B (D follows to B)
Once C vacates his position to support D and is replaced by A another sequence starts from B, therefore, balls are passed in alternate patterns between A and B.
Progression
- C receives the ball, opens up to play forward to D and supports to combine (where is the run from C (central or wide))
- Try different combinations appropriate to the age group
- Players can choose any combination (communication learning objective) previously worked on

SetUp
Two 15x15x15 Triangles
Organization
Player 1 starts and passes to player 2 in the center of the triangle. Player 2 passes back to player 1 who plays to player 3. Player 3 passes to player 4 who dribbles as speed back to the start.

Description
8v8 SSG with conditions
Introduce theme to prepare players for the session
Ask one player from each team to captain and create a team shape
Encourage players to play in positions out of their comfort zone
Play for 5-6 minutes then add conditions e.g. 1 touch finish in the final third etc
Add bonus points for headed goals from crosses, 3 player combination and goal, goals scored by midfield players etc.
