Split the Defenders
Social distancing in place.
Aim is to switch the play between the two outside players, and try to split the defenders with the pass if possible.
Scoring system:
Defenders - 1 point each time they intercept the pass
Attackers -
1 point for a low pass not passing between the defenders
2 points for a low pass splitting the defenders
Passes must be controlled within their area to score an attacking point.
Coach decides as to whether they want the defenders to get the ball under control or just stop the pass.
Defensive learning:
Work together and communicate, close the gaps between them at a rear angle.
Attacking learning:
Move for each other, work on long range passing technique,.
