Key Factors - Distribution using both feet (Skill) - being able to
distribute the ball
Organisation
- 2 xsmall goals (use cones if needed instead of goals).
- Hurdle on 6 yard box in central position.
- 10 x spare football at server/GK2
- GK 1 (blue) starts in position A, jumps hurdle, recieves rolled
pass from server, controlls the ball, then aims to score into small goals
- GK 1 then runs back into position A and starts the drill again.
- Drill repeated through 5 x each goal. (swap GKs)
Progression
- GK performing the drill uses loop pass.
- Server throws the ball into the air for the GK performing the
drill to perform a high ball controll.
- Random target selection based on instruction from server e.g.
as ball is in the air RED - side right foot. In which case the GK would side foot into goal (red cones). or WHT/YEL GK would loop pass technique into goals. No order to targets to encourage decision making.
