Description- The player in blue is the one working. They start off by side jumping over the hurdle and then checking into the first cone. They will play a one-touch pass back to the server and then backpedal to the middle cone. As they receive the next pass, they will take a touch across the cone, moving to the other side and playing it back to the first server again. Then they will check in and play a one-touch pass and backpedal again to the middle cone. This time, they will move to the second server and play two quick one-touch passes, and on the third pass, they will turn and play the ball back to the first server. Each player can repeat 4-5 reps of this drill.
# of players- 2-3. If there are only two players, the coach can be one of the servers.
Coaching points- Players need to work on clean passes to each other and make sure nothing is too soft or too strong, or that players are reaching to receive a pass. Make sure everyone is on their toes.
Progressions: Can the speed of each rep get faster while remaining clean? It is ok for players to take it slow to start, but can they get each rep done quicker overtime and keep the passes clean.

Description- The player in black will receive a pass from the player in blue. As the pass comes in, the player in black will take a touch through the cones "gates" and dribble around the cone on whichever side they went through. Finishing by playing a pass to the player on the other side (the player in red). Then, repeating by moving both ways, working for about 1 minute.
# of players- 2-3. If there are only 2 players, then the coach can be one of the servers.
Coaching points- The first touch needs to be going in the direction of where they will be moving. Not fully stopping the ball, then moving but controlling it while moving it into the open space.
Progressions- The two sets of cones can be different colors, and when the server passes the ball, they can say a color, which determines where the player working will take their touch towards.

Description- One player will play a pass to the player crossing and then run into the box, trying to finish first time. The pole is not necessary for the drill; it is just there to be in the way and have players thinking about where to run and where to cross the ball in the box. The player passing the ball into the box will keep the pass on the ground to start.
# of players needed- 1 or 2 players
Coaching points- Focus on how players are tracking the ball to finish. The player passing the ball into the box needs to get the pass off quickly so that the person finishing is not standing and waiting. That also means the player shooting needs to time their run into the box.
Progressions- Instead of a quick small pass into the box the players crossing can move farther out and cross the ball in the air.

Description- The player will start off by running to one of the cones in front of them, either left or right. Then back pedal to the next cone, side shuffle to the next cone on the other side, and then sprint forwards, pass the cone in front of them.
# of players- 1. If there is more than one player, just make the same setup for the other individuals.
Coaching points- When they shuffle or backpedal, make sure they get low and drive through the ground for speed.
Progressions- Time how fast they can complete the sequence and get them to try and beat their times.
