15X15 Grid with corners cut fromgoal to sideline to form a diamond playing area.
Play 3 v 3 with a keeper and 2 bumpers on attacking end. Play 3v3 team that scores stays on. Bumpers get 1 touch.
Progression: when playing a bumper the player must swap positions.
Coaching Points: Technique at speed, quick decisions, movement to find space.

25X40 yard grid divided into 3 zones. Endzones are 10 yards wide and middle zone is 20 yards wide. Small goals at each end.
Play 4v4(5V5) + 2 in the middle zone. team in possession must comnine/pass to enter endzone. A team mate must enter enzone and combine to score. 1 defender may recover to pressure the attackers.
Coaching Points: Players must know: 1) Where the ball is 2) Where the defenders are 3) Where their team mates are at all times, Encourage players to check their shoulder at least 3 times to be aware of these (Prior to moving, as they move, prior to receiving the ball. The exercise encourages players to work on diagonals - remind them of this often. Open body (hips) to see both passer and receiver, receive across the body with the opposite foot.

30X25 grid with full sized goal on endline.
Build up play with midfielders around outside of area possessing the ball till a chance is created. Attackers move within the grid to find space to shoot on goal. 2 touch on the outside, 1 touch in the middle.Defending players should pressure the ball with 2 players (pressure & Support), play in a diamond. If defending players win the ball, they play 4v2 - 2 touch.
Coaching Points: Continuous movement of the ball and players moving off the ball, unbalance defenders and play ball in, movement of attackers in the bax to find space to shoot, look for rebounds. Outside players should look to "skip" a player, long driven ball are great to switch play quickly.

Combination Play to Create Killer Pass #v1 + Keeper (Post snack) (25 mins)
2 Grids of 20X30 Yards with Goals placed in opposite corners, 2 Blue men to provide interferance.
Play 3v1 in each grid looking to play a "Killer Pass" into opposite end for a player to run on to to finish. Player then rotates to opposite 3v1 game and play starts over.
Coaching Points: quick firm passing, movement to set up penetrating run, dont force the play.
