Description: - Players in groups of 3 with passing pattern as shown but a penetrative pass involved with passes going beyond the defense line and then scoring against the goalkeeper. After scoring players need to return back in 3 secs
Blocks: - 3 blocks of 4 mins with 2 min rest (2:1 work rest ratio)
Variations: - Player first passes to the right in the 1st block and then towards left. In the 3rd Block, same 3 players first go right, sprint back and then go left
Theory: - In a game players run at max 80 m at once, Hence in the 3rd block players do run 80m i.e. 40m x 2 (Ocean park ground is small)

Description: - 2 v 2 with the coach serving the ball inside and both players sprinting into the shaded area shown in the center. Area acts as the offside line for both teams. One team scores in the big goal and the other in target goals (only 1 GK available).
Coach plays 2 balls, if blue team scores or takes a shot then ball played to red team whilst creating more transition situations and 1 v 2 situations. This is to force players to be involved for around 12 to 14 secs (average is 8 secs)
Blocks: - 2 min work and 2 mins rest x 4 (1:1 ratio)

Progression: - Players need to shoot first time
Variation: - Players only allowed to use inside foot to work the goalkeeper
Blocks: - 2 mins x 3 with 1 min rest ( 2 : 1 ratio as intensity is less)
Coaching Points: -
Players while running need to look at the possessor and defense line
Time your run to avoid being offside
While 1 v 1 with GK, look at the goalkeeper and avoid looking at the ball to always be ready to react to GK's movement

PART 1: - PASSING PATTERN
Description: -
Players need to pass the ball as shown above but over bigger distances compared to usual.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Players can only use weak foot to pass, receive and dribble.
Time: - 2 min blocks x 3
Coaching Points: -
- Weight of Pass i.e., slow for layoff and hard for player to receive and pass or dribble
- Central Player's timing of movement to drop to layoff, (Check forward and then drop when possessor looks up)
- Accuracy of pass, on the foot which helps next action
- Touch tight receive, receive which allows to perform next action immediately
PART 2: - EXTENSIVE WARMUPDescription: - Players need to sprint 50 m (max length available) with 3 sections.5 m for jog, 10 m to accelerate and remaining to sprint at 80% max.
Then players need to jog back to starting point and go again for a total of 4 times
Perform part 1 and 2 continuously without break for 3 times
