Ball-Mastery Gates10 mins

Pass & Move Through Gates

Organization: 30x30 Grid, half with a ball, half without

6 blocks of 1 minute w/ 30 seconds rest 

Progression:

1. Pass & move either around or through the gate. Do any dynamic movement when not in possession of the ball

2. Accelerate through the gate w/ dribble penetration

3. Give and go (setter should position beyond the inital gate of pass)

* Ball stays with the one person; other person does dyanmic movement and sets give n go's

4. Pass & move but now position beyond a gate to turn and dribble penetrate beyond another gate

5. But longer passes

Half-Turn Passing Pattern10 mins

Half-Turn Dribble Penetration Pattern

Organization: 30 X 25 Yards

Duration: 4 x 2.5 min

Set-up:

1. A passes to B, who checks off, receives on half turn and dribbles through next 2 cones. Then pass to C who repeats on opposite side.

1b. opposite direction

2. A passes to B, who checks off, receives on half turn and dribbles through next 2 cones. Then Pass to C who checks off different side and performs give and go. (B needs to run passed the pole to not get in way of C). C then plays same ball in but with left foot.
