pitch 70 x 50 spit in to thirds. 9v9+gk. offside in the final third.
There are no corners, goal kicks, or throw-ins. The team that wins possession from the ball going out of play for a corner, goal kick, or throw-in, starts with the ball with their GK. Keep score of the game for competition.
As a group, unit and team, Attackers need to be able to create space with good length, width, and depth. This will help create space, behind, in front, or to the side of the opposition. Once space has been created, players need to look to exploit the space with their first touch, passing, turning, running with the ball, or dribbling.
Coaching Points:
Attackers need to offer support around and away from the ball whilst also being conscious of the space to provide good length, width, and depth to the attack. If there are no opportunities to play forward, the Attacking team need to keep possession or switch play.
If space has been created effectively, Attackers need to look to penetrate and exploit the space.
Attackers need to perform different types of movements to create space for themselves and others such as overlaps, underlaps, in-to-out and out-to-in runs.
