London TFC - Rotations & Movements

1st rotation - Player number 10 comes to create a box in the middle, they have a very similar set up than us.

We'll start the pressing with the opposite striker.

Closest striker need to block the pass towards the middle while being front foot to continue the pressing so that the CB doesn't have plenty of time to think.

Our winger on the right side will jump into number 3 in the image, 8 and 6 will have to travel together and close those spaces in the middle.

We'll avoid being split thru the middle, their WB will go very high , our FB will take care of him.

2nd - Number 3 and 7 will rotate positions, number 11 or 7 could come close to create another option outside.

We won't chase them, we will remain in our positions and we'll focus on the moment where the ball start moving.

If they bring 7 and 3 very close to the middle, it is good for us since we will be able to defend that with our strikers an, winger shifted inside and our CMs.

If 11 comes very low and they have 3 and 7 inside, our FB will have to jump denying the space inside. Our 6 will have to travel fast to cover the space where their 8 will run into.

3rd - Number 10 will come very low on the left side and WB will go very high.

If that happens, our 7 will have to block the pass towards the middle by putting his body in between the ball and the 10 and our 2 will have to deal with their WB. It is important not to be dragged with our 2 following their 10 since this will allow their WB to have plenty of space in behind.
