Overview
Players dribble through the yellow cones turn and then attack the red cone perform a feint and take a shot goal.
If numbers are lower we will remove the yellow cones as we are more interested in the execution of the feint skill and shot
Once the player has had their shot swap side so you can practice with your left.
Coaching Points
Can you keep the ball close while dribbling at speed. Try to use both feet.
Change of speed and direction to beat the cone/ man.
Correct body shape balance when shooting. Emily and betty in particular need support with shooting technique.
If tempo is too low coach can offer passive pressure by jogging after the player. Coach can also replace the red cone to support the feint technique.

Overview
Using the same set up from the last drill we now work on 1 v 1 s with pressure from the side
A passes to B who tries to attack quickly and score. B immediately tries to win the ball back.
Attack quickly, dribble with the foot furthest away from the defender. First touch crucial can you take it forward and drive out. Stay calm and finish accurately.
Defender get across quickly put pressure on the defender use your body to try to get across the defender.

Overview
In a 20 x 30 yard area we start with a pass and move warm up. Players are asked to pass travel with the ball then look to pass back to their team mate.
Ask them to add a skill move Feint, roll over or step over before passing on.
When the coach blows his whistle the pairs compete in a 1 v 1 trying to get to the goal and score. Once they score they reset outside the goal and try to get to the next goal and score. 2 minute bouts.
Coaching Points1) Attack your opponent at speed - be positive
2) Use your feints and changes of direction to create space
3) If we lose it can we react quickly
4) Finish quickly and accurately when past the defender. Placement not power.
