Dynamic Stretches
1. Legs apart, bounce L, C, R (5x)
2. Calves 1, 2, 3 switch (2x each leg)
3. Knee to chest into Figure 4 with footwork in between (2x each)
4. Quad strech with footwork in between (2x each)
5. Speed skater with footwork in between (2x each)
6. Spiderman/Rollback (4x each)
7. Reverse RDL + Reverse lunge + Overhead reach (4x each)
8. Open/Close the Gate (4x each)
9. Lateral lunge (2x each)
10. Squat Jumps (4x each)

Objective: improve our attacking and finishing.
Organization: 6 stations with players and balls. 3 stations playing to two small goals and 3 stations playing to the other two small goals.
Instructions: attacking player with the ball passes to defending player who bounces it back. Then they play 1v1 (passive defender). Don't give players instructions on how to rotate. They must sort this out for themselves.
Variations: (1) 1v1 active defender, (2) 2v1 passive defender, (3) 2v1 active defender.
Coaching Points: (1) attack full speeds, (2) accurate placement of shots, (2) no straight line runs, (3) full speed support.

Objective: improve attacker 1, 2.
Organization: 44x36 yard grid. Full size goal and goalie at one end. 2 small counter goals at the other end.
Instructions: coach plays the ball in and players play 2v1.
Coaching Points: (1) attacker 1 go at pace and commit defender, (2) attacker 2 create overload near the ball, (3) attacker 2 no straight lines, (4) look for overlaps, underlaps, 1-2 wall passes.

Rondo 8v2 (10 mins)
Objective: mental and physical activation game for the training session.
Set-up: 10x10 grid. 10 players.
Instructions: players play 1 touch keep away. If the defenders win the ball they drop the vests and transition quickly into the possession.
Timing: Play 4 minutes, stretch on their own 2 minutes, play 4 minutes then go into dynamic stretch.
Coaching Points: (1) quality of passes, (2) receiving the ball open across our body, (3) proper passing and receiving, movement to fill in spaces, fast transitions from defending to attacking and from attacking to defending.
