Organisation
Create a grid 40 x 36 yards with two channels each 5 yards running along each side.
Split players into two teams - 8 players per team to include GK's.
If insufficient players, reduce each team to 4v4 + GK's inside the grid and play a single neutral player in the channels.
Instructions
5v5 inside the area plus a player for each team inside each channel, in the teams attacking half.
Teams are looking to possess the ball with the intention of creating passing angles to shoot. The channel players can cross the ball or play to feet in order to maintain possession. Teams do not have to use the channel players. As soon as a good opportunity to shoot arises, players should do so.
Progressions
1. Allow channel players to dribble inside the area in order to create an overload.

In this stage we have a conditional game where players must stay in their zone however if you dribble forward you're able to advance into the final third. Once in the final third it's important we get the shot away quickly before getting closed down. See in the diagram how the #11 is driving in the box and dragging their defender across, here the winger should look to pass into the #9 who should shoot quickly before the defender can recover.
Progression: Reduce the size of the final third, this will decrease the amount of time and space the attack will have.
