Recovery Run - Counter the Counter (15 mins)

Organization:

using 3/4 of the pitch ATT(green) team is set up as Point forward 6, 8, 10 with a 7, 9, 11. DEF(white) team set up as 2 CBs and 2 FB.

Balls are with the FB recovery runners who start. FB play ball through 6,8 or 10 to play opposite side. The attacking team must complete 4 passes before they can score ONLY 7,9,11, AND 10 CAN ATTACK. As they play, the FB who served the ball must make recovery run to create a 4v3. When DEF win ball, they are looking to play their FB at the beginning. 

Key Factors:

 Attacking to exploit space quickly

FB must run back to defend weak side. Looking to delay, have patience in defending, Cut off channel towards goal. If you cannot win ball, prevent turn. Pressure, Cover, Balance.

Give restrictions to attacking team.
