Session Objective:
Week 1 trials:
Players we know will lead out the FIFA 11+ warmup, then pickup yellow cones, pass to coach and move to passing squares.
Passing squares will start slow, until everyone understand the patterns and what's expected of them. The tempo of the passing squares will increase, so the players have the chance to show quality.
At the end of passing squares, all the balls should be passed to where the coach is standing, and the white cones picked up, before having a drink break.
Drink break for 60sec, then into transition game.
Transition game is simple to play, so a high tempo can be kept, with the games lasting for a max of 15sec, before the new game starts.
Drink break for 60sec, then into 2v1 game.
At the end of the 2v1 game, all players help collect gear and return to the sidelines.
Players can stretch, and coaches can have a quick chat to the group.
