SSG - 1v1 build up into 5v3
- Start 1v1 w/ neutral player on the other side and build up to 4v3.
- #4 & #5 defending the goal with #1 in the goal. 7, 11, 9 & 10 will attack the goal.
- If the 2 defenders win the ball, their job is to attack with speed and shoot on other GK.
- As soon as the 4 attackers have attacked, whether they score or the ball goals out, 2 of them vacate the area leavng 2 defenders and 2 more players join the previous 2 defenders to make a 4v2.
Round 1 - 3 reps per player
Round 2 - 3 reps per player
Round 3 - 4 minutes continuous
Progressions
1) Start 1v1 with neutral player starting on the other side, GK players as if they would in a normal game. All players to start in the middle of the field.
2) 2v2 with neutral player starting on the other side. All players stay in the middle of the field.
3) 5v3 with players still on the side of the field - 10 seconds for attackers to score. If the ball is transitioned, they have 10 seconds to score too, then the 10 seconds starts all over again if the other team transition into another attack
Coaching Points
1) Lots of communication from the both #1's to the 4 & 5 and the 7, 11 9 and 10, being in a 4v2 situation means that they need a lot of verbal support on the defensive side of things but they also need a lot of support when attacking to communicate where the space of the attack is.
2) Correct GK on which ever choice of technical save which they choose to make
3) Encourage #1 to play quickly, release quick to counter attack.

ESSG - 7v5
- Any other attacking players will stand next to their own goal and can call out an attacking number to swap out with at any given moment.
- If the attacking team scores, no matter what, they become the defending team and they go down to 5 players and 2 additional attacking players come in.
- If the ball stays in play for 5 minutes for example, it stays 7v5 in one teams favour until a goal is scored or until the ball goals out in their defensive--->attacking transition.
1) 5 reps of 2 minutes of 7v5 changing the players
2) 2 reps of 5 minutes of 7v5 with players rolling in and rolling out upon call of a player.
Coaching Points
1) Encourage the goalkeeper to move as the ball moves
2) What is the GK saying to the team when in defence and when in attack.
3) #1 must release the ball quickly if they make a save.
4) Where is the goalkeepers positioning during a shot stopping opportunity

Game - 9v9
9v9 Game w/ balls around the outside and in the GKs goal for quick restart.
I may have to change the 9v9 into something else if the space looks too clustered and there are not enough efficient shots being put onto the goalkeeper.
Coaching Points
1) Communication from the #1 in defence and attack
2) Technically proficient saves
3) As the ball moves the goalkeeper must move
4) Releases the ball quick in transition
