Organization:
Use cones to make 10 yd square, then add one cone 10 yds further on each side, as shown. 1 player on first line of square, second line of square, and last cone. All other players at first cone, with balls.
Instructions:
(1) Movements are cued off the second player, who checks either right or left. Third player goes in the opposite direction.
(2) Ball is played to second player then set back. Ball is then played to third player who sets it back for the second player to follow and pass to the last player, who dribbles around the outside and gets back in line. All players rotate forward one position.
Coaching Points:
- Open body to receive
- Quality/angle of set (to feet vs. lead the player forward)
- Step through the ball to play the penetrating pass
- Can we play all passes one-touch?
Progressions:
- Add a goal behind last player. Last player can turn and shoot, or set back to third player for the shot.
- Allow each player to choose their pass - so they can set it back or open up to receive on the back foot and play forward. (Coaching Point: always have 2 options)
- Add a defender: Two grids become teams, fourth player becomes the defender in the other grid. Go to goal, attacking team must play at least 3 passes before having a shot. Goals = 1 pt.

Organization:
15x25 channel.
Option 1: 2v2+1 to endzones - stop with your foot on the ball to score.
Option 2: 2v2+1 to targets - connect the ball from one target to the other to score.
Option 3: 3v2 where 3 play to endzone, 2 counter to small goal.
Instructions:
3 minute games. Winning team moves up the ladder, loser moves down. After last game the losing teams in the two lowest divisions do pushups.

Instructions:
- 3-touch maximum to force good movement off the ball.
- Two teams play 3 minute small sided games of 5 vs. 5.
- First to score wins, winner stays on.
- In the case of a draw, new team stays.
Coaching Points:
- As before. Minimal stoppages.

Organization:
"Iron Cross": 2 players at every cone.
Instructions:
Pass and follow the pass, as illustrated 1-6. Start with ball in hands to learn the pattern. Add a second ball, start simultaneously at position (A). Once the pattern is learned progress to feet. Play two touches to get the rhythm of the activity. The ball should always be moving.
Coaching Points:
Middle player to check the shoulder before receiving "on toes"
Receive with the furthest foot
Pass with the other foot
Middle player to start high, then check to receive
Progressions:
Play one touch in the middle (the outer players always plays two touches though) OR
