Ball Manipulation:
1) Warm up - players high knees, butt kickers, lateral shuffle, kareoke within their 5x5 yd grid.
2) Turns - Turns, inside chop, outside chop/stepover, drag back, practice each turn for 20-30 sec. Competition time: have players compete to see how many turns they can complete in 20 sec. Repeat x 2 trying to better their #.
3) Passing/Receiving - Coach steps out of middle square to outside of group. Player 2 has the ball & player 1 enters the square & checks to receive the ball from player 2. Player 1 turns with ball & plays out to #5. Player #2 then checks into & receives from #5. Continue progression. Player who passes the ball in then checks into square next & receives & plays out to anyone they choose.
Reps continue for 1-2 minutes.
Key Coaching Points:
1) Players must maintain social distancing & timing of runs.
2) Turns - check shoulder, drop hips, explode out of turn, do it at game pace
3) Passing & Receiving - check shoulder, choose surface to receive on, pace of pass, open hips, clean first touch, accellerate out of first touch.

SAQ
3 Stations - each set up for 2 players, with 15' distance between the set up.
Station A:
Set Up: 4 cones 1 yd apart, ball at the last cone, & then 1 more cone 10 yd away that player will dribble/sprint to. Players will begin on left side of first cone balancing on their right foot. Player jumps laterally to the right over cone, lands it, then jumps forward to next cone, then jumps laterally to the left over cone, then forward to 3rd cone, then laterally to the right over last cone. Player then sprints to 5th cone.
Reps: 3 reps w/ build up sprint from 4th cone to the 5th cone, slow jog to recover when return to start. 3 reps with dribbling from 4th cone to 5th cone at speed.
Station B:
Set Up: Agility ladders set up adjacent with end cones 12-15 yd away.
Reps: 2 reps - zig zag; 2 reps - 2 foot in each going forward; 2 reps lateral step
Station C:
Set Up: 2 cones 8 yds apart
Reps: 15 sec reps with 15 sec rest x 4. Player 1 manipulates ball side to side between 2 cones, Player 2 tries to mirror Player 1 & keep with her. Can do without the ball as well.
Key Coaching Points:
1- Set up was meant to provide opportunities for players to compete & challenge one another.
2 - Have fun, allow for different movements to challenge the players.
3 - Correct body movements & stress importance of good form (stay on balls of feet, drop hips / have athletic stance, use arms)

Coach places a central cone in his/her middle square. Players each take an opportunity to try & hit the cone from their box. Closest player wins! Coach can play ball back to players for extra rounds.
