Organization:
-30x30 area, three teams or 3 or more if numbers are high. Non directional to start can add goals if needed or want.
Instructions:
-Two teams will work together to keep ball away from defending team. By completing X amount of passes the two teams in possession will score a point. The defending team will look to win the ball and pass to the coach on the outside (Coach should move around to make it more challeneging for defending team) to score a point. Defending team will stay defending for x amount of time before coach switches
-Coaching Points:
-Why do we look for the long pass, to give the player on the ball more time and space
-What type of pass will move the ball the quickest.
- How, driven low to the ground. Laces, toe pointed down, kicking through center of ball.
--Moving the ball across the field, hard driven long ball vs smaller shorter pass
- What decisions can players come up with to keep the ball
Progressions/Regressions:
R- Smaller amount of passes to score points.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization:
-Same as previous 30x30
Progression:
-Two teams in the middle playing against eachother. Team thats off acts as bumper/nuetral players on the outside. X amount of passes equals goal. Coach can acted as nuetral if needed, all extra balls with coach for fast replays to keep up intensty and momentum.
Coaching Points:
-Why do we look for the long pass, to give the player on the ball more time and space
-What type of pass will move the ball the quickest.
- Encourage teams to switch the field
--Moving the ball across the field, hard driven long ball vs smaller shorter pass
- What decisions can players come up with to keep the ball
- How, driven low to the ground. Laces, toe pointed down, kicking through center of ball.

Organization:
-Set up in 25x 35, 3v3+3
Instructions:

Coaching Points/Questions:
-Why do we look for the long pass, to give the player on the ball more time and space
-What type of pass will move the ball the quickest.

Regressions/Progressions:

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization:
-Set up two fields or one field and play 4v4 if numbers arent High enough.
Instructions:
-Four goals set up as shown on each corner of field. Having a center goal consisting of two cones. Players can look to score three points by passing the ball in pugg goals or 1 point for dribbling through center goal where cones are. 2v2 on each side players may not cross middle half. If numbers are odd use nuetrals and or bumpers. If players score from their side in goals they get 5 points.
Coaching Points/Questions:
-Can we create space for eachother
-Why to find gaps for long pass and create passing channels
-When to look for long pass to get to other side
-Can we look to challenge the players in this activity, what decisions can they make to try and get the ball from one end to the other.
-Risk vs. Reward. are we risking to get the three points or should we take the 1 point.
-How, driven low to the ground. Laces, toe pointed down, kicking through center of ball.
Regressions/Progressions:
P- Take away center gate and players look to pass the ball, 5 passes and score then point is worth 5 points

Introduction (10 mins)
Organization:
-30x30.
Instructions:
-Split players in three teams one ball per team for two teams and one team that has a ball for each player. Two teams work individually and get as many passes as they can in 1 minute. The team that has a ball for each player looks to dribble around area and score by dribbling through gaps or performing change of direction move. Go for certain amount of time then switch team with ball each.
Coaching Points:
-Why pass the ball to move the ball around space and get as many points as possible
-What long vs. short pass. what does a long pass allow you to have...Time?/Space?
Can we challenge ourselves to make longer passes. Think about what we can do after pass.
-How, driven low to the ground. Laces, toe pointed down, kicking through center of ball.
Progressions/Regressions:
R- one team passes while the other teams dribble around
P- Teams that are passing must now look for gaps to pass through in order to score a point. Gaps can be through and player dribbling or passing.
