Keep away (20 mins)
Organization:
- Two or 3 grids if needed.
- 3v3min 5v5max
Instructions:
- Team will try and accumulate as many passes as possible. team with the highest score at the end of time wins.
- 5 minute rounds.
- If a Yellow team makes 3 passes in a row, once blue team takes it from them they will now try to beat 3 and make a new high score for yellow to beat.
Coaching Points:
- Passing technique.
- Positional awareness
- Spread out to be able to use the whole grid.
Progressions/Regressions:
R. 4v2 and rotate defenders.
P. Limited touches.

Game of 3 gates (20 mins)
Organization:
- 30x40 box with 6 gates inside, 3 for each team.
- Split team in two, 5v5 max. 2v2 min.
Instructions:
- Teams have to pass to their teammate through any of their 3 gates to get a point.
- The game does NOT stop after any team scores.
- The team can pass back and forth to rack up points until the other team comes and steals it from them.
Coaching Points:
- Identify the right time and space to pass the ball through the gates.
- How players look to change direction from one gate to another if pressure is on.
- Spreading out the field so all gates could be used.
