Session for USW 3rd Team: - Matchday - 2 or Matchday + 5
Only 1 session in the week. The main objective was to prepare against our next opponent who press in a 4 2 3 1 with a high press. They do try to play out from the back but make mistakes. Also taking into consideration our last game where we didn't have enough confidence to keep possession and were trying to play forwards in every situation

Description: - 2 boxes. Each box should have 1 GK on the goal, 2 CBs, 2 FBs and 2 DMs. (1 4 2) against a 4 man press playing in a 3-1 shape. The Team in possession needs to transfer the ball to the other side either through passes or through dribbling. Once the ball goes into the other box, the same structure is repeated. In case defenders win the ball, they need to score inside the big goal and attackers need to counter-press.
Blocks: - 180 secs x 6 with 60 secs rest between blocks
Regressions: - Only 3 players will press or increase width to the whole field.
Progressions: - 2 specific gates through which only passes can be made (AM positions)

Description: - 2 teams in a 4 2 1 1 shape out of possession (We defend in a 4 2 3 1 ) and 2 2 2 2 in possesion ( 4 2 2 2). Blues score in 2 mini goals and red on the big goal. After every block we switch sides. Play only starts from Goalkicks on either side for the 1st 2 blocks only
Blocks: - 4 mins x 4 with 2 mins secs rest between blocks
Progression: - Normal play with throws, corners etc

Pattern Play (15 mins)
Description: - Players start with a Dynamic Stretch followed by 2 patterns of a 4 2 2 2.
Pattern A: - Full back passes to CB, who plays to the dropping ST or attacking midfielder. He needs to turn or play it to the winger running behind the defense line (In case he can't turn he lays it off to one of the midfielders who either plays the penetrative pass himself or switches play)
Pattern B: - CB passes it to Full back who plays it to the winger, The winger needs to do a wall pass with the attacking midfielder and run behind the defense line.
In both patterns once the ball goes behind the defense line, the far side winger and the ST/AM on the other side runs inside the box to finish the cross first time
Blocks: - 90 secs x 6 with 30 secs dynamic stretches in the middle
