Organization: 25mx 20m (Adjust to Players needs) mirror to create two activities if you have bigger numbers.
Activity: Dribbling/ running with the ball
Procedure: Players (Length wise) are in groups of three looking to dribble from one side to another. Player(width wise) are looking to pass it to their teammate on the opposite side. The pass must be on the ground. Players dribbling need to be aware of other players dribbling, and also balls going back and fourth.
Every time a player gets to the other side they get a point, Players dribbling look to get to the other side as many times as they can within 1 min.
Players passing to each other get a point if they are successful playing to their partner through traffic.
Every player get a chance to dribble and to pass who can get the most points.
Coaching Points: Head up see the player see the ball , when dribbling keep the ball close using your laces to push the ball, change speed change direction.

Activity: Dribbling 1v1 (10 minutes) 3 Games 4 min games 1min rest
Players: 9 (Mirror activity if numbers are larger)
Equipment: Balls, cones, bibs (4 Red, 4 Blue, 1 Yellow GK), small pug net, big goal
Setup & Procedure
Divide players into two teams (Red vs. Blue).
Each player has a ball and is assigned a colored target square (Red to red square, Blue to blue square).
On the coach’s call:
Both players dribble to their square, stop the ball, and then retrieve the opposite team’s ball.
Red player cuts inside and attacks the big goal.
Blue player dribbles around the small pug net before turning to attack the big goal.
Once Blue attacks, the Red player becomes the defender.
If Red wins possession, they immediately counter and try to score on the small pug net.
Blue player has 10 seconds after rounding the pug net to score on the big goal.
Constraints/Rules
First touch into space is encouraged.
Quick transition: Losing the ball = immediate defending.
GK (Yellow) guards the big goal.
Coaching Points
Running with the ball: Big touches into space when unopposed.
Dribbling to beat an opponent: Change of speed & direction, use of feints.
Shielding & protecting the ball under pressure.
Quick transition: Reacting instantly between attack and defense.
Decision-making: When to take on defender vs. when to shoot.

Activity: Switch the Point of Attack
Duration: 15–20 minutes
Organization
Equipment: Cones, bibs, two big goals
Players: 14–16 players
Setup:
Run two mirrored games to reduce lines.
Create left and right channels using cones.
Each group works with: 3 attackers, 1 defender, 1 goalkeeper.
Players rotate through all roles: attacker, defender, goalkeeper.
Groups switch sides so players attack both left and right channels.
Procedure
Wide player starts by driving down the channel.
The channel is blocked by a cone, forcing the wide player to pull back, turn, and connect with the midfielder.
The midfielder receives on their back foot, opens up, and switches play to the opposite winger.
The opposite winger has 10 seconds to drive at the defender and finish on the big goal.
If the defender wins the ball, they look to:
Break the line or
Play into the coach for 1 point.
Coaching Points
Passing & Support
Movement to create angles and support the player in possession.
Receive with the correct (furthest) foot and pass with the inside of the foot.
Open body shape to switch play quickly.
Dribbling
Attack with speed.
Change direction and speed to unbalance the defender.
Use a feint or skill move to beat the defender.
Part of the foot → part of the ball (surface selection and ball control).

Ball Mastery - Warm up (10 mins)

Cones, balls
Procedure: Set up 2 to 3 stations to balance number and players are not waiting Two players and 1 ball work together
one player passes using his hands and the other receives and passes using their feet. Once they have gone through using both feet they switch roles.
Group players to ability
Progression 1: Ball rolled on the ground, played back using inside right foot, cross over (Yellow cone) now must use Left Foot.

Progression 2: Aerial ball (light throw to knee) ball is passed back using inside of the right foot cross over left foot.
Progression 3: Aerial Ball (Light throw to knee or just below) player passes the ball back using laces (Toe down) cross over now left foot.
Progression 4: Aerial ball (light throw to thigh) player must look to guide the ball back using their thigh they can also use a combination of thigh foot cross over now use left thigh.
Coaching points: Receiving - eyes on the ball lock the ankle guide the ball movement after the pass, check you shoulder, low moving backwards, quick feet.
