Organization:

• Half of the field.

Instructions:

• Goal kick setup. GK will play to the best option (RB or LB). As the GK plays, the CM and ST will react and slide to the side the GK is playing. RB or LB, will then play to the RM or LM (who should be on the half turn, readiness position with the right angle of approach). RM or LM will scan as the balls travels to make a decision, whether to play vertical (ST) or horizontal (CM), according to the space, pressure, time, and support from mates.

Coaching Points/Questions:

• Body angle.
• On your toes.
• On the half turn.
• Proactive, not reactive.
• Reading cues (eye contact, call, facing hips, hand signals).
• Timing of execution (based on space, time, pressure, passing lanes, etc)
