RWTB #5 (10 mins)
Objective: Quick reactions and running with the ball at speed from a standing start.
Description
We mark out a 20 x 20 yard square and place different coloured cones in the center as shown. We have two teams of six players, each assigned a different number.
The practice starts when the coach calls out a number and colour.
The first player to do this scores a point for their team.
Variations
1. Coach calls out several numbers and 1 colour.
2. The coach calls out 1 number and several colours. The players then have to dribble and stop the ball at all the coloured cones consecutively, in the order the coach calls them out.
3. The coach calls out several numbers and several colours.
